OverviewThe App Feedback & QA Operations Specialist owns the process of collecting, analyzing, and acting on user feedback and managing quality assurance operations for mobile and web applications. This role ensures product quality, improves user experience, and accelerates issue resolution by coordinating across product, engineering, support, and design teams. Key Responsibilities • Collect and consolidate user feedback from in-app tools, app store reviews, support tickets, usability sessions, surveys, social media, and analytics. • Triage incoming feedback to identify bugs, usability issues, feature requests, and priority trends. • Run and maintain QA test cycles: create test plans, write and execute test cases (manual and exploratory), log defects, and verify fixes. • Coordinate regression, release, and smoke testing for frequent app builds and production releases. • Reproduce and document bugs with clear reproduction steps, expected vs. actual behavior, screenshots/videos, environment details, and severity/priority assessment. • Maintain and improve feedback and QA workflows, tools, and dashboards to reduce cycle time and improve visibility. • Prioritize issues with product and engineering based on impact, user reach, and business objectives. • Communicate status, risks, and root-cause findings to stakeholders; facilitate bug review and post-release retrospectives. • Track common user pain points and propose product or UX improvements based on quantitative and qualitative data. • Support A/B tests and feature rollouts by validating experimental setups and monitoring quality metrics. • Ensure compliance with accessibility, security, and platform (iOS/Android/web) guidelines as applicable. Qualifications • with / without experience in mobile/web app QA, operations, or product support; or related roles combining QA and customer feedback analysis. • Familiarity with QA tools (test case management, bug trackers like Jira), feedback platforms, and basic analytics tools. • Strong written communication skills for producing clear bug reports and feedback summaries. • Ability to reproduce issues across devices, OS versions, and network conditions. • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple releases concurrently. Desired Skills • Basic scripting or test automation experience (e.g., Appium, Selenium) is a plus. • Understanding of app store review processes and release pipelines. • Experience with user research or customer support workflows. • Data-driven mindset; comfortable interpreting metrics (crash rates, retention, NPS).
