About this role
Mobile App Customer Feedback Analyst – Job Description A Mobile App Customer Feedback Analyst is responsible for collecting, reviewing, and analysing user feedback related to mobile applications. The main goal of this role is to understand how users feel about an app, identify problems they face, and provide insights that help improve the overall user experience. In this role, you will regularly monitor feedback from multiple sources, such as app store reviews (Apple App Store, Google Play Store), in-app surveys, customer support tickets, and social media comments. You will organise this information and categorise it based on themes such as bugs, performance issues, usability concerns, feature requests, and general satisfaction. One of the key responsibilities is to identify patterns in user feedback. For example, if many users report the same issue, the analyst highlights it and reports it to the product, design, or development teams. This helps companies prioritise fixes and improvements that matter most to users. The Mobile App Customer Feedback Analyst also prepares simple reports and summaries that show trends in user satisfaction, common complaints, and positive feedback. These reports are often shared with management teams to support decision-making and product planning. In addition, this role may involve tracking app ratings over time and measuring the impact of updates or new features on user sentiment. By comparing feedback before and after updates, the analyst helps determine whether changes have improved the user experience. Strong communication skills are important in this role, especially when translating user comments into clear and actionable insights. Attention to detail is also essential, as small issues reported by users can indicate larger problems in the app. Basic knowledge of mobile apps and how they function is helpful, along with the ability to use spreadsheets or simple analytics tools to organise data. Being organised, patient, and consistent is important because feedback analysis is often repetitive but highly valuable work. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with data, understanding user behaviour, and helping improve digital products. It can be performed remotely or in an office environment, depending on the company.
