Job Title: Mobile App Coordinator Overview The Mobile App Coordinator supports the planning, delivery, and ongoing operations of mobile applications. This role acts as the central point between product, engineering, design, QA, marketing, and customer support to ensure releases run smoothly, users receive timely updates, and app performance meets business goals. The Mobile App Coordinator helps prioritize work, track progress, and manage communication across teams. Key Responsibilities • Coordinate release schedules and deployment activities for iOS and Android apps, including internal builds, beta testing, app store submissions, and production releases. • Maintain product and release trackers, ensuring tasks, dependencies, and deadlines are visible and met. • Collect and consolidate feedback from users, support teams, app store reviews, and analytics; escalate critical issues and summarize trends for product owners. • Facilitate cross-team meetings: standups, release readiness reviews, bug triage sessions, and post-release retrospectives. • Create and maintain clear documentation: release notes, deployment checklists, test matrices, support playbooks, and user-facing instructions. • Support QA and testing efforts by organizing test cycles, coordinating test device pools, scheduling testers, and ensuring test environments mirror production where possible. • Monitor app health and performance signals such as crash reports, error rates, API latencies, and user engagement metrics; alert stakeholders to anomalies. • Manage app store listings and metadata updates (descriptions, screenshots, localized content), and coordinate marketing and ASO (app store optimization) activities. • Assist with onboarding and training for internal teams and external partners on app features, release processes, and support procedures. • Track and report on key performance indicators (downloads, active users, retention, crash-free users) and provide simple summaries for stakeholders. • Ensure compliance with platform guidelines, privacy policies, and required certifications. Qualifications • 1–3 years experience working with mobile apps, product operations, project coordination, or related roles. • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities. • Clear written and verbal communication; able to prepare concise reports and coordinate across distributed teams. • Familiarity with app store processes (Apple App Store, Google Play), basic understanding of mobile development and QA workflows. • Comfortable using collaboration tools (project trackers, Slack, Jira, Confluence, email) and basic analytics dashboards. Desired Skills • with/without Experience with beta distribution tools (TestFlight, Firebase App Distribution). • Basic understanding of mobile analytics, crash reporting, and A/B testing concepts. • Ability to troubleshoot simple device or configuration issues and reproduce user problems. Success Indicators • On-time, low-risk releases with minimal post-release incidents. • Faster resolution of high-impact customer issues and clear communication to stakeholders. • Improved app stability and positive trends in user engagement and retention.
