Assistant Buyer Salary: Up to $3,800 Basic (3-6 months contract), convertible contract to perm. Working Hours: Mon to Fri: 9 am to 6 pm, with partial wfh flexibility Working Location: 40 Penjuru Lane Job Description: · Carries out processes and standards in supportof Procurement, including RFPs,negotiations, costaccountability, and / or program execution. · Responds to internal customer inquiries about order status,changes, or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction. · Works with Senior Buyer in activities associatedwith purchasing goods,materials, supplies, and services. · Prepares purchase orders and follow up deliveries to ensure the procurementprocess goes smoothly. · Compiles records of items purchased, costs,deliveries, product performance, and inventories, analyses data and ensures OTDare met. · Contacts suppliers to schedule or expeditedeliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed orlate deliveries. · Other ad-hoc assignments tasked by your immediate superior / reporting.
