Regional sales coordinator role in global commodities trading firm Singapore Your new company Our client is an established international commodities business with a strong presence across key global markets, specializing in the trading and distribution of mining products including iron ore and manganese. As part of their continued growth in Asia, they are seeking a detail-oriented Sales Coordinator to support their commercial team in Singapore. Your new role Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role plays a critical part in supporting the commercial team through efficient coordination of sales operations, customer management, and trade administration. You will work closely with regional stakeholders across Asia, South Africa, and Europe to ensure seamless execution of transactions and customer satisfaction. What you'll need to succeed Key Responsibilities: Sales & Operations Support • Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the Sales team • Monitor and respond to customer and internal queries in a timely manner • Maintain and update key sales data including pricing, shipments, quality, and production information • Track and update monthly revenue commitments (provisional vs final pricing) • Support pricing settlements with regional offices and global sales teams • Ensure all commercial documentation is completed accurately and within deadlines Customer & Stakeholder Management • Coordinate customer requests, including sample management and follow-ups • Act as a key liaison between customers, logistics, and internal stakeholders across multiple geographies • Support customer visits, meetings, and travel arrangements where required • Handle and track customer feedback and product complaints, escalating where necessary • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Logistics, Finance, and international sales offices Logistics & Trade Coordination • Support communication between customers and overseas operations (e.g. South Africa) • Assist with shipment coordination and resolve day-to-day operational issues • Ensure smooth execution of import/export processes and trade documentation Experience & Skills • 1–3 years of experience in a sales support, coordination, or administrative role • Prior exposure to commodities, trading, logistics, or shipping will be advantageous • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) • Basic understanding of trade processes (e.g. Incoterms, Letters of Credit) is preferred • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities • Strong communication skills and ability to work across cultures and time zones What you'll get in return • Opportunity to join a globally recognized commodities organisation • Regional exposure working with international stakeholders • Dynamic and collaborative working environment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
