Key Responsibilities • Ad-here & review the project scope and resource needs; follow up meeting schedules and timelines. Prepare meeting minutes. Organize meeting & technical discussion. • Preparing DR project auxiliary documents, broadcast messages via EDM and providing status reports to stakeholders. • Liaise with team member to manage the DR related Change Request implementation requirements and documents. Attend weekly CAB meeting and follow up CR PIV items. • Ensure DR uplifting related project and exercises results are deliverables & meet management expectations. • Assist in the updates and maintenance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and IT Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP). • Ensure all recovery strategies align with regulatory requirements. • Review and update BCM policies annually or following significant organizational changes. • Assist BCM manager for 100% completion of annual Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and BCP updates & their dependencies. • Assist to collate annual risk assessments to identify threats in GRC system. • Work with the team for successful execution of scheduled DR exercise within stipulated Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) for various departments. • Coordinate, participate and manage the scheduled bank-wide DR & BCP exercises and activities, this included: • DR Live Failover Exercise • DR Simulation Exercise • DR uplifting related activities • DR certification for on-boarding systems • DR enhancement (HA testing) activities. • Critical Business Function BCP testing for Production Ops. • Annual 3rd party site DR & BCP documentation review. • DR & BCP Tabletop exercise • Assist to document test results, recording incident in the exercise, identify gaps in the recovery process, and track remedial actions to closure. • Manage the maintenance of DR testing sites computer infrastructure, device and peripherals. • Coordinate and manage the installation of latest software, applications, tools, security patching or updates of all the DR testing terminals. Generate inventory list from the DR terminals for recording & review purposes. • Coordinate and follow up with the application and infrastructure of the internal & external Firewall request pertaining on DR network ports. • Prepare DR exercise hour-by-hour plan, walkthrough with all stakeholders. • Prepare DR Change Request, tasks assignment and related documents. • Participate in the Call Tree Crisis Management simulation. • Maintain the emergency notification information and ensure BCP contact lists are always up to date. • Support post-incident reviews to gather "lessons learned" for future resilience. • Develop BCM training materials, EDM, newsletters and online training presentation to educate staff on disaster recovery strategies & crisis escalation and management. • Promote a culture of resilience through regular awareness campaigns, newsletters and EDM. • Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or a relevant discipline is required. • ITIL or CBCP or ABCP professional certification is an added advantage but not mandatory. • Experience: 4-7 years of experience in Business Risk Management and IT Disaster Recovery or Business Continuity Management. With proven track record of executing DR drills within stipulated RTO and RPO targets. • At least 3 years of experience within the Banking or Financial Services sector, specifically in disaster recovery frameworks, due to the specialized nature of critical core banking systems. • Technical competencies: • Possesses a strong and in-depth understanding of disaster recovery (DR) site architectures and high-availability configurations. • Familiarity with how core banking applications interact (E.g. Internet & Mobile Banking, SWIFT, payment gateways, Secure FTP, ESB systems) • Experience in managing recovery for hybrid storage environment. • Demonstrates a deep understanding of Cyber Recovery (E.g. Ransomware and DDOS) • Possess excellent communication skills and ability to work with all levels of stakeholders • Willing and able to work on weekends and outside regular business hours to manage and support the Bank’s DR activities.
