IT Solutions Delivery Manager Singapore We are partnering with an established international insurance platform to identify an IT Solutions Delivery Manager to support regional technology initiatives across Asia Pacific. This is a unique hybrid role combining hands-on development (automation, data solutions) with IT service management and governance oversight. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernising legacy tools, strengthening controls, and ensuring alignment with regional and global technology standards. Key ResponsibilitiesYou will take ownership of developing and enhancing internal tools by transforming end-user computing applications (e.g. Excel, Access) into secure, scalable, and well-governed solutions using enterprise technologies. Working closely with regional and global stakeholders, you will design and implement automated workflows, improve data processes, and support business functions including underwriting, claims, finance, and analytics. You will also oversee the full development lifecycle—from requirements gathering to testing and deployment—ensuring solutions are robust, well-documented, and compliant with internal governance standards. In parallel, you will act as a key local point of contact for IT matters, coordinating with global teams and external vendors to ensure effective service delivery. This includes monitoring service performance, managing risks, supporting audits, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and internal control frameworks. You will also contribute to broader technology initiatives, helping to define roadmaps, identify opportunities for automation and simplification, and support the evolution of the regional technology landscape. RequirementsWe are seeking candidates with experience in system development, automation, or IT delivery, ideally within financial services or a regulated environment. You should have hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as SQL Server, Power BI, Power Automate, Python, or VBA, and a strong understanding of data structures, system integration, and solution design. Experience in transforming manual or spreadsheet-based processes into scalable systems will be highly valued. Exposure to IT service management practices (e.g. incident, change, or problem management) and experience working with external vendors or distributed teams will be advantageous. A working knowledge of technology risk, governance, and regulatory expectations (e.g. MAS TRM, ISO standards, or similar frameworks) is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders across regions.
