KYC Compliance Specialist

Job Description We are looking for an experienced KYC Compliance professional to join our team, focusing on advanced compliance reviews, Source of Wealth (SoW) validation, and corporate client due diligence within the banking sector. Key Responsibilities • Perform Level 2 and Level 3 reviews of KYC and Source of Wealth (SoW) assessments to ensure accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance. • Evaluate the plausibility and consistency of Source of Wealth narratives, supporting documents, and customer financial profiles. • Identify, assess, and escalate potential compliance risks, red flags, and high-risk cases to the Anti-Money Laundering Officer (AMLO), providing clear recommendations. • Review and validate customer risk ratings, profiles, and due diligence assessments. • Maintain quality assurance documentation and support audit readiness, regulatory reviews, and internal compliance processes. • Provide guidance and constructive feedback to Level 1 and Level 2 KYC teams to enhance quality, consistency, and compliance standards. • Support adherence to AML, CDD, EDD, and regulatory frameworks, particularly for corporate and complex client structures. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of KYC/AML compliance experience within banking or financial services (mandatory). • Proven experience handling corporate client reviews, complex ownership structures, or high-risk client profiles. • Prior experience in L3 KYC review, Quality Assurance, or Compliance Officer roles is highly preferred. • Strong understanding of Source of Wealth (SoW), AML regulations, compliance frameworks, and customer due diligence standards. • Experience in risk identification, escalation, and regulatory compliance. • Excellent analytical, investigative, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting corporate banking, private banking, or wealth management clients. • Exposure to regulatory audits and quality assurance frameworks. • Relevant AML/KYC or compliance certifications are advantageous.
