About this role
Responsibilities • Monitor network performance and availability through NOC tools and dashboards. • Respond to alerts, investigate incidents, and take corrective actions. • Perform first-level troubleshooting of network devices, servers, and connectivity issues. • Escalate critical issues to Level 2/3 support or vendors following defined procedures. • Maintain incident logs and prepare performance or outage reports. • Assist in implementing network upgrades, patches, and configurations. • Ensure 24x7 coverage through shift rotation. • Adhere to SLA and incident response timelines. Required Skills & Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field. • 1–3 years of experience in network monitoring or IT operations. • Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs. • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG, Zabbix). • Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy). • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work in shifts (including nights and weekends).
