Part-time Speech Therapist

Location: Teck Whye Working Hours:  Monday to Friday, with working hours to be mutually agreed and minimum commitment of 20 hours per week Contract Duration: 1 Aug 2026 to 31st Jul 2027 Salary: UP $75 / hour Responsibilities: • Assess, develop, plan, and implement speech therapy interventions for students with speech, language, and communication difficulties in accordance with programme frameworks, SOPs, and professional standards. • Deliver therapy services through individual, group, or specialized settings based on students’ needs and programme requirements. • Monitor, document, and report students ’progress, providing regular updates to caregivers and relevant stakeholders. • Provide professional consultation and recommendations, including referrals to school teams or external professionals for further assessment or intervention where necessary. • Share speech therapy knowledge, strategies, and best practices with school staff to support holistic student development. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Speech Pathology / Speech and Language Therapy, or Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. • Qualifications must be recognised by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) for practice in Singapore. • Registered or eligible for full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC). • Ability to conduct comprehensive formal and informal assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs. • Competency in developing, implementing, and reviewing individualized therapy plans based on student needs. • Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation, including case notes, progress reports, and case history taking. • Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience for entry-level positions in speech therapy practice. • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting and supportive relationships with students.
