About this role
Tescom is an IT consulting firm providing a range of professional services in functional testing, automation testing, cyber security testing, performance testing, independent IT auditing, and application support. We are looking to hire a PROJECT MANAGER for a public sector project. Responsibilities 1. Set up the structures to manage the systems in scope and undertake full responsibility for the quality of work produced by the Tescom project team; 2. Ensure that the deliverables are in accordance with the agreed contractual specifications and are completed on schedule; 3. Serve as the liaison between the client and Tescom’s team project members; 4. Publish regular progress reports; 5. Prepare and submit minutes of all meetings; Experience: 1. Possesses at least ten (10) years of working experience in managing a large-scale IT project involving application/product development, maintenance and operations; 2. Completed at least three (3) IT development and maintenance projects in the most recent five(5) years in the capacity of project lead/manager; 3. Possesses good knowledge of the project management-related processes, standards, tools, solutions, products; 4. Possesses strong analytical skills and proactive in providing solutions; 5. Responsive to the queries and requirements from the client; 6. Customer-oriented and possess experience in dealing with IT requirements from the business perspective; 7. Preferably has experience working on IT projects with the Singapore Government; Education & Certifications: 1. Possesses at least a recognized IT/Computer Science Degree or a related discipline; 2. Preferably acetified IT Project Manager under the Project Management Professional (PMP),Certified IT Project Manager Programmed (CITPM) or its equivalent; 3. Preferably acertified Scrum Master by NUS-ISS or an equivalent Singapore Recognised Institution; Personal characteristics: 1. Possesses good communication (verbal and written) skills in English; 2. Good work attitude. 3. Fast learner and able to quickly understand complex systems. 4. Able to work fast to address user issues quickly and accurately. 5. Quality conscious. 6. Strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and customer service.
