Role Overview Reporting to the RTR Lead, GFS APAC, this position will support the Financial Shared Service Centre and hold primary responsibility for the successful execution of the Record-to-Report (RTR) function within the Singapore shared services centre. Key stakeholders include Finance Directors across Asia Pacific markets, as well as broader finance teams and business stakeholders across the region. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Support the definition of service standards and ongoing management of service level agreements. • Maintain ledger integrity and ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations. • Review and post month-end close and accounting transactions accurately and on time. • Prepare P&L and balance sheet account analysis, reconciliations, reviews, and issue resolution. • Ensure financial records comply with US GAAP and applicable local accounting standards. • Maintain robust internal controls and adherence to company policies and procedures. • Work closely with local market finance teams and external service providers (including auditors), ensuring timely and accurate communication and data delivery. • Evaluate existing processes and recommend or implement process improvements. • Support the development, maintenance, and assessment of internal controls relating to accounting and financial reporting systems. • Manage accounting and reporting requirements under US GAAP and local GAAP. • Support ad hoc finance projects as required. • Requirements Minimum Qualifications • At least 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a multinational corporation (MNC) environment. • Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CPA. • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX Compliance. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in both written and spoken English and Mandarin. Preferred Qualifications • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or an MBA. • Big 4 or similar practice accounting background would be advantageous. • Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and practices. • Experience working with internal and external auditors. • Experience with Oracle, SAP, or similar ERP systems. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. • Experience within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry would be an advantage. • We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
