Job OverviewPoi Ching School is seeking a competent and reliable Office Attendant to support the daily operational and administrative functions of the school. The ideal candidate will be the welcoming face of our front desk, handle critical school printing needs, and offer logistical support for various school events. • Client/School: Poi Ching School (Owned by Singapore Fuqing Association) • Location: 21 Tampines Street 71, Singapore 529067 • Contract Duration: 1 Year (1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027), with options to extend for up to an additional 2 years. Working Hours & Schedule• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Includes a 1-hour lunch break) • Fridays: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Includes a 1-hour lunch break) • Rest Days: Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays. Key Responsibilities1. Front Desk & Reception Duties • Serve as the first point of contact at the school's general office. • Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls professionally. • Warmly greet and manage visitors, walk-in inquiries, and parents. • Attend to and assist students with various requests at the counter. • Handle and sort incoming/outgoing mail, couriers, and deliveries. 2. Printing & Production Duties • Operate high-volume office printing and copying machines. • Execute printing, photocopying, binding, laminating, and collating of school worksheets, examination papers, reports, and administrative materials. • Maintain the printing area, ensuring it remains tidy and organized. • Monitor and manage stock levels for printing consumables (e.g., paper, toner) to prevent downtime. 3. General Office Administration & Logistics • Provide general clerical and administrative support to school staff. • Provide essential logistical and operational support for school events, functions, and activities. • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the school management. Requirements & QualificationsExperience • Minimum 2 years of experience in providing similar operational and administrative services (preferably within an educational environment or public sector). • Proven track record in handling customer service matters (front counter, telephone, and walk-in inquiries). Technical Skills • Software Proficiency: Proficient in using Microsoft Word. (Familiarity with Excel, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, or email platforms is highly advantageous) . • Equipment Mastery: Demonstrated ability to independently operate standard office printing/copier machines and binding equipment. Soft Skills • Strong verbal communication skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and visitors. • Excellent teamwork capabilities and a cooperative attitude. • Patient, pleasant disposition, and capable of managing counter crowd flow with a customer-centric mindset.
