Transmission Network Engineer

Job Responsibilities: ·     Responsiblefor Huawei optical transmission networking products after-sales support forSDH/HMSTP/DWDM equipment such as site survey, installation, planning,commissioning, migration and maintenance. ·   Responsiblefor solution review and provide low level network solution design to internaland external stakeholders. ·   Responsiblefor collaboration with cross-functional teams, including customers, accountteam, project management office, product technical sales, and other deliverynetwork engineers, to ensure seamless system functionality from on-site survey,supervise, testing, commissioning and maintenance of network, and technicalproposal of new network presales stage. ·   Responsiblefor issues or outages recovery in the live customer network. Carry out postinvestigation and communicate with stake holders for root causes with finalreport. ·   Participate innecessary technical meetings pertaining to operators, internal staff or itsassociated customers. ·   Required towork as a team with regional/HQ or Singapore-based technical teams fortransmission projects. ·   Required toprovide high-quality technical proposals focusing on network reliability,latency optimization, and capacity scaling ·   Require towork under minimum supervision to complete tasks assigned. ·   Required topresent technical solutions professionally and conduct technical training forchannel partners and customers on DWDM/OTN technologies. ·   To collaborate and communicate directly with Chinese speaking officers, stakeholders, counterparts, and customers in China HQ team Job Requirements: ·       Possess a minimum of Bachelor Degree in any field. ·       Minimum 4 years of working experience in optical transmission project implementation,network planning & design, migration and maintenance experience. ·       In-depth knowledge in SDH, DWDM, OTN, ROADM, ASON, OTDR, BERT, OSNR,RFC2544, Network management system, Fiber Doctor, Optical Doctor, 400G C+L, MS-OTN,OXC, preferably with expertise in Huawei-specific OptiX OSN & OptiXtransplatforms, including NCE-T / Navigator / ON Toolkit management software. ·       Requires ability to handle end-to-end low / medium / high risk networkchange implementation, including solution develop, preparing Method ofProcedure, solution implementation and service verification. ·       Hands-on experience in high-capacity OCh link commissioning, ASONnetwork deployment, optical power tuning and migration of legacy services. ·       Requires to work on night time for service migration / cutover operationto minimize the traffic impact on customer network. ·       Outstanding communication and presentation skills. ·       Ability to manage and guide on-site subcontractor team for equipmentinstallation and fiber patching work. ·       Ability to manage and liaise with different stakeholders includinginternal team and external customer. ·       Self-initiative to take the responsibility of task and learn newproducts/technologies. ·       Selected candidate shall be adaptable and flexible to tasks or jobscopes assigned. ·       Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to ensure effective communication with the Chinese-speaking stakeholders, including head office, business counterparts, and customers based in China.
