Contract & Claims Management ProfessionalLocation: Singapore Employment Type: 24-Month Contract (Renewable based on business requirements and performance) About the RoleAn established engineering and energy solutions organization is seeking a Contract & Claims Management Professional to support project teams in administering contracts and managing commercial and claims activities across multidisciplinary project environments. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering, procurement, project controls, site teams, and external stakeholders to support contract administration, claims management, commercial coordination, and project delivery activities. This opportunity is suitable for professionals who enjoy working in dynamic project environments and possess strong analytical, contractual, and communication skills. Key ResponsibilitiesContract Administration• Maintain contract registers, obligations, deliverables, milestones, and contractual notifications. • Review, analyze, and support the negotiation of client contracts and vendor purchase order terms and conditions. • Monitor contractual obligations and ensure compliance with project requirements. • Maintain proper records of contract correspondence and documentation. Claims & Commercial Management• Support the preparation and administration of contractual and commercial claims. • Gather project records, supporting documentation, and factual information for claim analysis. • Assist in preparing claims narratives, entitlement assessments, and supporting evidence. • Monitor commercial risks, opportunities, and project exposures. • Maintain commercial trackers and claims registers. Stakeholder Coordination• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, Construction, and Site teams. • Consolidate technical and commercial inputs from various stakeholders. • Participate in internal and external project meetings. • Prepare meeting minutes, action registers, and follow-up items. Documentation & Reporting• Draft contractual correspondence and commercial communications. • Maintain accurate records and document control systems. • Prepare periodic reports relating to commercial, contractual, and project matters. • Support implementation of internal contract management procedures and controls. RequirementsEducation• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business, Construction Management, or a related discipline. Experience• Approximately 5 to 7 years of experience in contract administration, commercial support, claims management, or contract management roles. • Experience reviewing and interpreting contractual terms and conditions. • Exposure to engineering, EPC, industrial, infrastructure, energy, oil & gas, power generation, or related project environments would be advantageous. • Experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams is preferred. Technical Skills• Knowledge of contract administration and commercial management principles. • Understanding of contractual correspondence and claims documentation. • Ability to review and interpret contractual terms and conditions. • Familiarity with project documentation and commercial reporting. Software Skills• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. • Experience using document management or collaboration platforms such as SharePoint would be advantageous.
