About this role
We're partnering with a financial services client to hire a Manager – Distribution Governance and Excellence to own how they onboard and govern insurance distribution partners (brokers, FAs, banks). It's a hands-on control-function role for someone who values structure, clean documentation, and keeping multiple workstreams on track. This is a 8 month contract role. What you'll do • Run end-to-end distributor due diligence — assess submissions, flag risks and gaps, and keep audit-ready records. • Support contracting and agreement execution, maintaining a clear tracker of status and next steps. • Coordinate sign-offs with Compliance, Legal, Risk, and Financial Crime. • Plan and run governance meetings: prepare packs, take minutes, and drive actions to closure. • Report on onboarding, contracting, and governance progress, and improve the templates and trackers behind it. What we're looking for • Experience in insurance distribution, partner governance, third-party risk, or a related compliance/control function. • Strong due diligence and documentation discipline with sharp attention to detail. • Proven stakeholder management across internal teams and external partners. • Clear written communication — decks, minutes, action-oriented summaries. • Highly organised, comfortable juggling deadlines and dependencies. Contracting/Legal exposure and experience preparing materials for senior committees are a plus. Interested? Apply with your CV — all applications are treated in strict confidence.
