SENIOR TECHNICAL ANALYST

A Senior Technical Analyst bridges the gap between business needs and technology solutions, leading requirements gathering, system design, and implementation. They typically possess 6-8+ years of experience in data platforms, software development, or IT infrastructure, focusing on translating strategic goals into technical specifications while mentoring junior staff. Key Responsibilities • Requirements & Analysis: Capture, validate, and document complex functional and technical requirements. • System Design & Implementation: Design application solutions, API integrations, data mappings, and workflow automation. • Technical Leadership: Act as a liaison between stakeholders, developers, and data governance teams; often acting as a backup for Product Owners. • Quality Assurance & Testing: Support or lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), audit readiness, and performance validation. • Data & Technical Support: Analyze data structures (SQL, Python), troubleshoot complex system issues, and manage system inventories. • Documentation: Create technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, user stories, and process models. Required Skills & Experience • Experience: 6+ years in a technical analyst, data platform, or software engineering role. • Technical Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java). • Platforms & Tools: Experience with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake), cloud technologies, or CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins). • Methodologies: Extensive experience in Agile/Scrum environments. • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
