About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced and analytical Team Lead, Investigations to oversee and guide investigative and regulatory enforcement activities within the aviation environment. This role involves leading investigations, providing direction to team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality findings and recommendations to support compliance and legal processes. You will provide leadership to a small team, working collaboratively to ensure investigations are conducted effectively, objectively, and in accordance with established procedures. Key Responsibilities• Lead and oversee investigations into alleged regulatory breaches, ensuring adherence to established procedures and standards • Provide guidance and direction to team members on investigation approach, case handling, and documentation • Conduct complex or sensitive investigations, including interviews with witnesses and involved parties • Review and validate statements, evidence, and case documentation for accuracy and completeness • Ensure proper handling, management, and preservation of evidence • Review and endorse investigation reports, ensuring clarity, quality, and consistency • Analyse investigation findings and provide recommendations based on evidence collected • Support legal or prosecution processes where required, including preparation and review of documentation • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate investigation outcomes • Identify opportunities to improve investigation processes, practices, and documentation standards • Mentor and support the professional development of team members Requirements• At least 10 years of relevant experience in investigative or related roles • Demonstrated experience in leading or coordinating investigations and guiding team members • Experience in conducting interviews and obtaining statements from relevant parties • Strong experience in evidence gathering, handling, and preservation • Ability to review and produce clear, structured investigation reports and case documentation • Familiarity with supporting legal or prosecution processes will be an advantage • Experience in participating in legal proceedings (e.g., providing testimony) will be an advantage • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders professionally • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting Additional Information• This role leads a small team within a collaborative working environment • Travel to the East region may be required • Monday to Thursday: 8.30am to 6.00pm, Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm This is in partnership with the Employment and Employability Institute Pte Ltd (“e2i”). e2i is the empowering network for workers and employers seeking employment and employability solutions. e2i serves as a bridge between workers and employers, connecting with workers to offer job security through job-matching, career guidance and skills upgrading services, and partnering employers to address their manpower needs through recruitment, training, and job redesign solutions. e2i is a tripartite initiative of the National Trades Union Congress set up to support nation-wide manpower and skills upgrading initiatives.
